China Aug exports seen strong despite US tariffs - Reuters poll

China data, scheduled for release this week, is expected to show export growth remained strong in August, despite the trade war with the US and the resulting drop in the export orders, a Reuters poll showed.

Chinese shipments likely rose 10.1 percent on-year in August, according to median estimates from 26 economists.

China's imports likely rose 18.7 percent in August on-year. 

Trade surplus likely expanded to $31.79 billion in August, from $28.05 billion the previous month.
